CHICAGO (Wales) — A man was seriously injured when he was shot at a gas station on the city’s South Side Friday evening.

Chicago police said the attack occurred in the 7000 block of South Damen Boulevard in West Englewood around 6:28 p.m.

Police said someone walked up to the 19-year-old victim and opened fire. The man was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Chicago police are still searching for the suspect.
