Who needs a down payment anyway? Netflix’s first live sports event is Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson was flooded with Netflix promotions during its first broadcast hour.

The main event kicked off at 8pm EST on Friday and pretty much started off promoting Netflix itself. The first entertainment before the first fight was a show by the cheerleaders of the Dallas Cowboys, the subject of “America’s Sweethearts”. Considering the fight took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Cowboys, the synergy proved irresistible.

The first match on the main card was the super middleweight fight between India’s Neeraj Goyat and Brazil’s Whindersson Nunes. During the fight, it was revealed that Nunes had three comedy specials on Netflix and Goyat appeared on the streamer’s “Ultimate Beastmaster: India.”

Between rounds during the Goyat and Nunes fight, a gang of “Squid Game” guards were shown sitting together in the crowd, giving the announcer a chance to say that the show would return for a second season this winter.

During the fight between Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos, “Cobra Kai”‘s Ralph Macchio and William Zabka were spotted sitting in the crowd, at which point a new trailer for the series was shown.

The Netflix logo was indispensable everywhere, from ring shots to chairs, intermission graphics and even the announcer’s note cards. Even the various announcers did not hesitate to make some jokes about the broadcast; one of them said as the evening was about to start “It’s time for Netflix and Thrills!” he said.
