WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – The former Riverside Fire Chief is expected to find out if his case will go to trial. Robert Bowen is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Monday afternoon.

53-year-old Bowen He is accused of seducing children and two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. Prosecutors say he had an inappropriate relationship with a teenager.

Bowen was placed on administrative leave in the spring and later resigned from the fire department in August. The Rothschild Village administrator confirmed that none of the alleged abuses occurred within the fire department.

Bowen’s hearing will be held at 14.30
