The Dallas Mavericks are 5-4 on the season after a close loss to the Phoenix Suns. While the Suns improved to 8-1 on the season, they lost 114-113.

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving scored a total of 59 points in Mavericks, while Doncic got 30 of them. However, he could not score very efficiently as he shot 11/25 from the field. He added seven rebounds and seven assists, but was a minus-seven in the penalty box.

While the Mavericks’ superstar added a good stat line to the game, he went viral in an apparent flop that the NBA focused heavily on. The video of her flop garnered over 2.6 million views in a single post and was recirculated on social media to garner even more views.

Irving scored 29 points on an efficient 10-of-17 shooting from the field. He was a bright spot for the team, being a team-high plus-nine in the box score.

After a day of rest, the Mavericks will enter a tough atmosphere as they face the Denver Nuggets on the road to maintain their winning record.
