Saints Eliminate Four Players, Including Chris Olave, for Week 10 Game Against Falcons

The Saints ruled out four players on the final injury report for Week 10. New Orleans will be without two wide receivers, starting at left guard and cornerback, for Sunday’s game against the Falcons. They will no doubt have plenty of squad moves to make to properly field matchday squads, but that’s how things look heading into the weekend.

Derek Carr (illness) and Alvin Kamara (hand) are not injured until Sunday. Interim head coach Darren Rizzi said injured reserve is on the table for Chris Olave, but he will remain away from the team in the short term as he gathers more information to make the best decision possible for him. Williams’ groin injury has re-aggravated and he is not expected to play. Erik McCoy is making good progress, but he’s not quite ready yet. He wants to make sure Rizzi stays on the field when he returns.

What’s in store for the future head coach of the New Orleans Saints?

As for some returns from injured reserve, both Will Harris and Shane Lemieux are expected to play on Sunday. According to Rizzi, Harris had a good week of practice. Nephi Sewell isn’t completely out of the mix, but he has a bit more of an uphill climb as he returns from an ACL injury.
