SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Emergency crews responded to a serious crash in Springfield Friday night.

The crash happened just before 10 p.m. on East Division St. It happened at the intersection of North Benton Ave.

Police closed many nearby streets and warned people to stay away from the scene. At least one person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

East Division St., North Benton Ave. and North Washington Ave. is blocked between .

Springfield Police, Springfield Fire Department and City Services crews are on scene.
