Seahawks run C Connor Williams, 2 others MISSING in Week 11

Seattle Seahawks They’ve set game times for Sunday’s Week 11 game against the San Francisco 49ers, and it’s a package full of both good and bad news.

Let’s get the bad news out of the way first: Starting center Connor Williams, who has played in every game for Seattle this year, has been ruled out. Why? We’re not so sure. It’s officially listed as “non-injury related: personal.” Williams missed practice this week with the same title. As of now, Neither he nor the Seahawks have explained why He missed so much time. That puts sophomore backup center Olu Oluwatimi in line to make his first start of the season.

Additionally, tight end games for Noah Fant and Brady Russell were eliminated. Look for rookie AJ Barner to be the go-to guy once again in their absence.

The good news is that while Seattle’s offensive line could take a hit without Williams, Abe Lucas at right tackle will likely be back! Lucas does not hold any titles and as an active participant in this week’s training sessions – despite being officially removed from the PUP list – looks set to make his debut in 2024!

He will be joined by wide receiver DK Metcalf. After missing the last two games due to an MCL sprain, Metcalf has returned to practice and is also without the playing time designation. Getting Lucas and Metcalf back on the field will have a huge impact on Seattle’s offense.
