WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WTVD) — The young man, who was taken out of the pond and had life-threatening conditions, was treated at the hospital.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), deputies responded to a report of a possible drowning on Hasentree Road near Wake Forest around 12:40 a.m. Friday.

WCSO said first responders took life-saving measures before the child was taken to the hospital.

While no other information about the incident has been disclosed, the investigation continues.
