How to watch ‘Thursday Night Football’ on Amazon Prime Video

The Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) will take on Jayden Daniels and the surprising Washington Commanders (7-3) in the battle for first place in the NFC East tonight on Amazon. Thursday Night Football.

In their third year at Amazon’s Prime Video booth, Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will call out all the action at Lincoln Financial Field. They will be joined by sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung, and former NFL referee Terry McAulay will also serve as a rules analyst for NBC.

Also back this season Thursday Night Football Host Charissa Thompson and studio team including analysts Andrew Whitworth, Tony Gonzalez, Richard Sherman and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Amazon’s pregame show begins airing at 7 p.m., and the team will return for the postgame broadcast, which is a little more laid-back and fun than the typical network broadcast.

This is the biggest game of the season so far for the Eagles, who are on a five-game winning streak and on the rise after a blowout win over the lowly Dallas Cowboys (3-6). But the Commanders are not the Cowboys; Washington’s offense ranks No. 4 overall in the NFL and ranks third in scoring, averaging 29 points per game.

“The Eagles defense has been among the best in the league since the bye but has never faced an offense as versatile as the Commanders.” Jeff McLane of The Inquirer wrote:He adds: “This should be a fun game. I see a decent score.”

One addition to the Commanders’ offense this season will be familiar to Eagles fans: tight end Zach Ertz, who has the most catches and receiving yards in a season since being traded by the Birds in 2021. Fortunately for the Eagles, the 34-year-old appears to have slowed down in recent weeks and suffered a costly fumble in the Commanders’ loss to the Steelers.

One thing going in the Eagles’ favor tonight is that the Birds are 9-5 against Washington in prime time games. But that didn’t help much in their latest prime-time game in 2022. Commanders beat Eagles 32-21 Monday Night Football, Handed the Birds their first loss of the season.
