Woman broke into victim’s car, stole her debit card and drove to the bank

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – We have all heard it many times from law enforcement: do not leave valuables in the car.

Here’s a good example, and if you can help the police catch him, there’s something of value in that for you.

Crime Stoppers is highlighting two crimes this week, but police say one of the suspects is no stranger to them.

This first crime occurred on Old Highway 431 last month.

Police say a woman broke the window of a minivan parked on the greenway and took several items from inside. One of these items is a bag with several cards inside.

Police said the woman then drove to a bank and used the victim’s card, and this wasn’t the first time she’d done something like this.

Investigators believe he is responsible for many similar crimes around the city.

Police are also looking for two men who entered the Academy from Memorial Parkway and stole several items before driving off in a black Mercedes.
