GREAT FALLS — In addition to new Station Area Lofts There will also be new dining options near Milwaukee Station in Great Falls for everyone to enjoy, and now we know what they’ll be.

The venue, called The Station District Bar & Eatery, will offer various dining options:

• Yama – Asian Cuisine, an Asian fusion concept highlighting Thai cuisine
• Barrio Cantina serving authentic Mexican cuisine
• Cascata with Italian appetizers
• Big Sky Grill, American cuisine featuring Montana products

There will also be a cafe serving a variety of coffee and espresso drinks.
“This unique concept spans two floors and offers a thoughtful foodservice operation with a spacious bar and both indoor and outdoor seating. The second-floor event space is the perfect venue for corporate meetings, private events and holiday parties. Open,” a news release reads. The patio offers views of Missouri and is capable of comfortably hosting up to 100 people.”

Tyson Holzheimer of Great Falls Falls is the hospitality director for the Station Project. Holzheimer is a big fan of travel and food and wants to bring some of what he’s seen at other food halls here to Montana.

“I don’t think there’s anything else like it in Montana, and I dare say there’s nothing like it in the surrounding states either,” Holzheimer told KRTV last month. Like I said, I’ve been to a lot of really great, similar dining establishments. “Nothing has a beautiful river view like this, nothing has large event spaces like this, this patio is truly unique.”

Inside, there is seating for 200 people, as well as a full bar, lounge area, cafeteria and games room. They will also have an upper floor area with a balcony and outdoor patio.

Additionally, half of the bar’s taps will be from Montana breweries.

“If we support the local economy, we support local vendors, local farmers, they support us, and that works for everyone,” Holzheimer said. “We hope to get everyone on their feet or relaxing with a cocktail and a snack.”

Station District Bar & Eatery will open this winter.
