Rashami Desai she recently opened up about her heartbreaking casting experience. The actor revealed that someone tried to knock him out during an audition when he was 16 years old. Recalling his experiences, the actor said, “Unfortunately, I was also exposed to the same situation and I mentioned it before. I remember being called for an audition and when I got there there was no one else there but him. I was only 16 at the time and he tried to knock me out. “I was disturbed and somehow managed to get out of there and a few hours later I told my mother everything.”

He also said, “I remember the next day we went to meet my mother and she slapped him to teach him a lesson. Casting is a real thing, but every industry is about good people and bad people. I’ve been lucky to work with amazing people who I’ve then had a good experience working with. God has been kind.”

Rashami Desai’s film and television career

Rashami made her acting debut with a small role in the Assamese film Kanyadaan (2002). She later appeared in Ravi Kishan’s National Award-winning Bhojpuri film Kab Hoi Gawna Hamar (2003). However, he rose to fame with television shows Uttaran (2019-2014) and Dil Se Dil Tak (2017-2018). He has also appeared in reality shows like Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, Nach Baliye 7, Bigg Boss 13, Bigg Boss 15, The Khatra Khatra Show and Entertainment Ki Raat Housefull.
