Woman surrenders to Manchester police in connection with stabbing

MANCHESTER — A 25-year-old woman surrendered to police Monday in connection with a stabbing that occurred in a local parking lot last month.

Analeysa Pringle had an outstanding arrest warrant for First Degree Assault after the incident, which occurred on October 26 at approximately 2:15 p.m., when Manchester Police were called to Victory Park on a report of an altercation.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 54-year-old man with blood on his clothes and cuts on his back.

The victim, who at first had the impression that a dog had bitten him, later realized that he had been stabbed during a conflict in Zafer Parking Lot.

Authorities stated that the woman who approached the man from behind during the fight was determined to be Pringle.

It was learned that the injured person’s injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken to a local hospital.

Pringle, who turned himself in to the Manchester Police Department on Nov. 11, is not only charged with First Degree Assault, but also faces two counts of Falsification of Evidence.

He will appear at Manchester Circuit Court today.
