PERINTON, NY — A road in Perinton is closed after deputies say there is a water main break.

The breakout happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, around midnight, on Ayrault Road near Kreag Road. Crews have closed Ayrault Road to all traffic from Kreag Road to Jefferson Road and say this closure could last several hours.

Deputies recommend taking a different route until the road reopens.
