Three boys, aged 14 and two 15, have been charged with offenses including kidnapping and robbery after a man’s car was stolen in Birmingham.

Police said he was found with a leg injury at the junction of Gravelly Lane and Mona Road in Erdington shortly before 03:00 GMT on Saturday.

All three teenagers are charged with kidnapping and robbery; One of the 15-year-olds faces additional charges of dangerous driving in public and possession of a knife.

Police added that the trio will appear before Birmingham Youth Court on Monday.
