Here are Utah’s holiday gift markets opening in 2024

Everyone has that one person in their life who is difficult to shop for; Someone who doesn’t create a wish list, doesn’t want anyone to buy them clothes, and doesn’t have a specific hobby you can add (like Lego sets or a video game that gets updated every year, for example).

Most of the time, the giver raises their hand and purchases a gift card; This may be practical, but it can also feel like a form of surrender.

To offer unconventional alternatives to hard-to-shop friends and family members, artisan markets will open briefly across Utah this holiday season, sometimes for just a few hours a day. Vendors will display one-of-a-kind artwork, handmade crafts, upcycled and vintage items. For browsers who enjoy hunting for unique gifts, these markets are a fertile hunting ground.
