Boise State increased the score to 8-1

Boise, Idaho (CBS2) – The Boise State Broncos improved to 8-1 on the season after defeating the Nevada Wolfpack at Albertsons Stadium.

The Broncos beat the Wolf Pack 28-21.

Ashton Jeanty carried the ball 34 times for 210 yards, 3 TDs and 1 fumble.

Maddux Madsen went 9/20 for 119 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT.

Boise State scored the first goal.

Midway through the first quarter, Maddux Madden threw a touchdown pass to Tight End Matt Lauter.

On the next drive, Ashton Jeanty took the ball and scored.

Nevada got on the board by scoring in the final minute of the first quarter

Boise State got the ball back and after a short run by Ashton Jeanty, Madsen made an interception with five seconds left in the first quarter.

The first quarter ended with Boise State leading 14-7.

Both Nevada and Boise State fumbled the ball in the second quarter.

In the fourth game, Nevada made a flea shake, scoring a touchdown and increasing the lead to 14.

Boise State started the third quarter at its own five-yard line. The Broncos marched onto the field. Ashton Jeanty scored on a one-yard run. At the end of the third quarter, Boise State took a 21-14 lead.

Ashton Jeanty scored the 50th goal of his career in the 4th quarter, giving the Broncos a 14-point lead.

Nevada fumbled the ball inside the 5-yard line. Boise State recovered the ball but was forced to clear the ball.

Nevada scored a goal. Boise State recovered Nevada’s onside kick.

The Broncos will face San Jose State next Saturday at 5 p.m.
