Riverton • Three members of the Unified Fire Authority were injured while responding to a house fire in Riverton Saturday afternoon.

Luckily, his injuries were minor.

According to UFA public information officer Benjamin Porter, UFA crews were dispatched to 1230 West 13200 South around 12:53 p.m.; A car started a fire in the garage here.

They were able to extinguish the fire relatively quickly, but then some flammable liquids in the garage reignited, Porter said. The clothes of three firefighters caught fire and the flames were quickly extinguished after they left the garage.
