GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – Frances Goldin Literary Agency announces the death of Dorothy Allison, a prolific writer and activist born in the Upstate, at the age of 75.

Allison was born in Greenville, later lived in Washington DC, New York City, Chicago, etc. She has worked as an editor of feminist magazines and other publications, as an activist in the Women’s Movement, as a novelist, and as a professor of fiction writing.
