Police in Seattle have captured a suspect linked to a series of random stabbings that injured nine people over two days. The attacks took place primarily in the city’s Chinatown-International District and sent shock waves throughout the community.

Authorities detailed the progression of the stabbings, with the victims ranging from 32 years younger to 60 years old. The attacks began on Thursday and continued through Friday, intensifying on Friday afternoon. Police detained the suspect and seized a nearby gun.

Four victims are currently at Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. The investigation continues as authorities piece together evidence to determine the motive behind these random and brutal attacks.
