HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Three people were arrested in connection with an incident. shooting in gym parking lot The incident occurred in September.

Mack Banks, Ronnie Peterson Jr., Henrico Police said Friday. and Charles Goode have been charged in connection with a homicide that occurred Sept. 6 in the 5700 block of Brook Road.

All three are charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances. Banks and Peterson are charged with attempted robbery, use of a firearm in an attempted robbery and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

According to Lt. Kerry DeCoito of Henrico Police, officers were called to the 5700 block of Brook Road, the address of Brook Run Mall, for a report of a shooting just before 4:30 p.m.

“Units quickly arrived and found a deceased adult male inside a vehicle,” DeCoito said. he said.

CBS 6 Reporter Jon Burkett said the victim’s SUV was in the parking lot in front of Crunch Fitness.

“We have two different scenes,” Burkett said. “They actually believe he was shot in the south part of the parking lot. That’s where (the victim) was in an SUV in the north part of the parking lot.”
