If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what kinds of daily things celebrities add to their shopping carts, like hairspray or an electric toothbrush. We asked Maddy DeVita, the private chef behind the TikTok account give me the forkabout the humidifier, light bulbs, and bamboo sheets she can’t live without.

I have sensitive skin and I never change products. Every time I try something new, I break out. This is the only skincare product I will buy from Sephora and I’m passing it up quickly. It’s super moisturizing and doesn’t make me irritated, unlike other over-the-counter skin care products. I have been using it for three years after my cousin directed me to the brand. I went through about 20 tubs.

This is a face mask that I use as a hand cream. I hate with a passion when my hands dry out when I go to bed. This feeling bothers me very much. I keep this mask next to my bed. I travel with it and use it on planes. I love how thick it is. I originally included this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, who doesn’t have a skincare set as a man, and I ended up stealing it.

Next to dry hands, the second thing I hate most is harsh overhead lighting. In the house in the Hamptons where I cook, a few other people work and the ceiling lights are always on, and I’m thinking: Wait, I just want to cook in natural light. I’m very particular about the lights in my own apartment and I like to have lots of lamps with these bulbs. I even have a small lamp in my bathroom. I use this instead of glaringly bright bathroom lights that trigger headaches. I find that soft lighting lowers my blood pressure and calms me down.

I bought this seven years ago, but you’d think it was brand new. The quality is great. I started yoga in college and went to a few different studios but they all had Manduka mats. During the pandemic, I subscribed to a series of Pilates classes at home and rolled out this mat every day.

These are very soft and refreshing and stay cool. I love getting into a cold bed. I think it’s a universal love. I visited a friend in Los Angeles and we stayed at her mother’s house and her mother had these sheets on her bed. I was moving into a new apartment and getting a new king size bed, so when I got back I texted her mom and told her I needed these sheets. I have two sets in plain white.

This was a Christmas gift I received when moving into a new apartment. I love having something on me, whether it’s music or a podcast. I live in a one-bedroom house in New York, so it’s not a big place. These speakers come in a set of two, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. You can walk around the entire apartment and never be without the podcast or music you’re listening to.

It’s perfect for summer, whether you’re drinking a margarita or something else. I always get so excited to order something with a Tajín rim at a restaurant. I love sprinkling some lemon on any fruit like melon or watermelon. I have every flavor of Tacín they sell; mini bottles, which are easy to pack. glass enclosure.

It’s the only apron I use in the Hamptons, and I literally do everything in it: I go out and grill, come back in and work on high heat, wipe my hands on it, smear it with oil and blueberries. It washes so well. Working eight to ten hours a day, the cross-back design is great for shoulder comfort compared to something that goes around the neck. The pockets are nice and deep, I put a lot of random items in there; my wallet, sunglasses, tool bag when I go grocery shopping. I’ve loved White Bark aprons for years, then I met founder Charlie Pennes, who made a Fork brand apron for me.

I’m a big fan Big Nightand I have many products from them. My most basic idea is this. I always have a small bowl of salt on my desk. This is such a gorgeous little statement bowl. I grew up in a household that loved salt, and my mother always had a salt shaker on her table, but having a bowl feels a little more sublime. I bought this about eight months ago. They’re also great for making cheese or keeping fig jam or a dollop of honeycomb on a charcuterie board.
