Cincinnati and Baltimore had another exciting match.

Later ravens Cincinnati, which defeated the Bengals 41-38 in overtime in Week 5, was unable to return the favor to start Week 11 on Thursday Night Football.

Despite leading 21-7, a turnover reversed Cincinnati’s momentum as Baltimore came back to win 35-34. The Bengals fought back after falling behind 28-21 and had a chance to take a late lead with a two-point conversion, but controversially missed.

Incredible individual efforts from Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase went in vain as Cincinnati fell to 4-6 in a tight AFC.

Lamar Jackson backed up the Ravens with another sensational performance and continued to establish himself as the MVP favorite as he moved to 7-3.

Let’s analyze the game in more detail with winners and losers:

WINNER: Lamar Jackson, Ravens

Jackson should still be the MVP favorite after another impressive outing in the comeback win. He went 25 of 33 completions for 290 yards, four touchdowns and no picks.

He also had no sacks while rushing for 33 yards on seven carries. Jackson shouldered the offensive load as Derrick Henry had a slower-than-usual night, but still scored a rushing touchdown to extend the season streak.

Loser: Chase Brown, Bengals

Cincinnati held a comfortable 21-7 lead and looked well on its way to adding more points until Brown’s fumble. Brown was one of the focal points of the offense, rushing and receiving yards.

However, Marlon Humphrey forced the fumble that Baltimore recovered and went on to score a touchdown on the ensuing drive. The momentum completely changed from there, and although Cincinnati remained resilient and pushed the game further rather than caving in, this was the game to remember.

WINNER: Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals

There wasn’t much Chase could do on this play, he was a crucial factor in Burrow’s temporary outburst.

Chase recorded 11 catches on 17 targets for 264 yards and three touchdowns. Burrow threw for 428 yards on 34 of 56 completions for four touchdowns.

Chase’s numbers haven’t always been consistent this season, but he still reminds the NFL of his abilities when the ball is thrown his way. He also posted those numbers against an elite Baltimore defense.

Loser: Diontae Johnson, Ravens

Much has been made about Jackson not having a clear-cut WR1 during his time in Baltimore. That changed when Baltimore acquired Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers before the trade deadline.

However, the former Pittsburgh Steeler was rarely involved, recording just one catch on two targets for six yards. Zay Flowers had just four catches for 34 yards, while Tylan Wallace led the way with 115 yards on three catches, including an 84-yard catch and a run.

WINNER: Two-point transformations

Apparently, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor did not want a repeat of overtime in the teams’ first meeting this season.

Taylor wanted his team to be aggressive and go for two. However, it arguably backfired when Burrow was hit in the facemask after throwing the ball and tight end Mike Gesicki appeared to be held up while running his route. He wasn’t called against Baltimore either.

Baltimore had a penalty lead on the night, being flagged 11 times for an 81-yard loss, while for Cincinnati it was just three of 23. But the most important ones were not called.
