VTuber Camila confirmed that the man who tried to break into her house was arrested and admitted to planting a tracking device inside the gift.

On November 2, 2024, VTuber Camila panicked. Someone tried to break into his house in the middle of the river.

He was forced to end his stream, much to the concern of his viewers, but he posted on X (formerly Twitter) immediately after the incident to confirm he was safe.

In a new development, Camila warned her VTuber friends to make sure they “check their reunion gifts” after revealing that the gift she received was planted with a tracking device.

As police confirmed, the man who tried to break into his home was arrested and “admitted to planting a device inside a gift” he had previously given to VTuber.

He also added that a family member would take gift wrapping from fans to his home “accompanied by an officer” and hand them over to the police, presumably to ensure there were no other tracking devices on the property.

Following these new details about Camila’s break-in, the VTuber community flooded the comments section of Camila’s post, sending their love but also expressing their fear that something like this could happen.

“This is so scary Camila dammit… I’m so glad you’re safe.” commented Fellow VTuber Captain Hannah while in Vienna added“I’m so sorry this happened to you Camila, it’s so crazy and totally not right. I’m glad you’re safe.”

Camila later confirmed that she had not returned home since the incident and would not be returning in the near future.

However, he “purchased a temporary (computer) to stream for now” and promised to “share more information about exactly what happened” on his next stream, which will take place on November 5 at 6pm PST.
