Restaurant and bar at Dauphin County mall closes

A restaurant and bar at the Colonial Park Mall in Lower Paxton Township has closed.

Fyre Lounge & Bar closed Nov. 2, according to co-owner Rick Collotia.

space opened last fall in the former Buffalo Wild Wings. Its menu blended Nepalese, Indian and American flavors, and the venue had a chilled atmosphere with a big-screen television, bar and dance floor.

A half-dozen partners were behind the concept, including Collotia and his brother Kamal Collotia, former owners of Lucky 7 Tavern in Harrisburg. The brothers brought in four partners, all refugees from Nepal, who influenced Fyre Lounge’s menu.

Rick Collotia said they are closing to focus on their other business and are looking for a new owner to take over the restaurant’s lease and liquor license.

The news comes like this 4600 Jonestown Road LLC, a Pennsylvania liability company, purchased the mall from Kohan Retail Investment Group in September for $8.8 million..

The sale includes the mall’s main building, excluding Boscov’s, the former Sears building and five other buildings on the property not owned by Kohan Retail.
