On October 31, Diwali, a woman was arrested for stabbing her husband’s first wife. The incident was reported from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh. In a chilling video, accused Mansi is seen stabbing accused Jaya multiple times, leaving her severely injured.

It shows Mansi with her clothes bloodied, standing over Jaya, who is lying covered in blood, with Mandi holding a knife in her hand. Mansi also kicked and abused him in the face after stabbing him more than 50 times. LiveMint will not share the video due to gory details.

Mansi was arrested by the police. Jaya is receiving treatment at a hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. His condition is said to be critical. A lawsuit was filed against the defendant.

The incident occurred on October 31 when Mansi (22) and Jaya (26) were arguing over an issue. In anger, Mansi stabbed Jaya more than 50 times. Both of them are married to a man named Rambabu Verma.

Police stated that Rambabu Verma married Jaya in 2019. He married Mansi in 2021 due to Jaya’s poor health.

“Rambabu’s first wife Jaya was often unwell, which led him to marry Manasi. We are waiting for the statement of the victim to contribute to our investigation,” police officer Udit Mishra was quoted as saying by India Today. In another incident, a 25-year-old man was stabbed to death by a youth allegedly due to firework explosion in Nagpur.

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in Delhi after a fight broke out over fireworks outside his house in northeast Delhi.

According to the police, Sahil was setting off fireworks in front of his house when three other residents reached there and started setting off fireworks. Police said that a fight broke out between the victim and the other group, during which one of the suspects took out a knife and stabbed Sahil.
