Annual harvest dinner is Saturday

This Saturday evening, November 2nd at 5pm, State Road Advent Christian Church will hold its annual harvest dinner. There is no charge for dinner, but donations are requested.

The church’s tradition is to use donations received at the annual dinner to help a family with significant needs. This year’s proceeds will benefit Matt Dionne and his family. Dionne was hit by a vehicle while walking home last year and the family had a rough year. This is a wonderful opportunity for the church to share God’s love with a local family who finds themselves in a difficult situation.

Everyone is invited to enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, stuffing and pies for dessert. All donations are accepted.

hunter breakfast

Mapleton Daze’s second annual hunter breakfast will be held at Lions Hall on Saturday, November 9, from 5 to 10 a.m. or until food runs out.

The menu will include a breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade fries, homemade baked beans, pancakes, toast, coffee, juice and water.

6th annual auction

The Mapleton Daze Committee will hold its sixth annual online silent auction from Nov. 11 through Nov. 13. The tender will start at 8am on Monday, November 11th and close at 18:00 on Wednesday, November 13th.

At the end of the silent auction, the bidders with the highest bids win the items offered. All funds raised will go towards Mapleton Daze Events in June 2025.

To donate auction items, contact Lynnelle Foster or message her using the Mapleton Daze Facebook page.
