INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two Indianapolis families whose homes were damaged by a fire Monday night are starting Tuesday in temporary housing.

Crews from the Indianapolis Fire Department responded to a double dwelling fire at East 32nd and North Meridian streets around 6:45 p.m. This is in the Meridian Park neighborhood near the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.

Authorities stated that the fire was intervened in a short time and there were no injuries.

Fire crews did not say how badly damaged the homes were.

The cause of the fire remains unclear.
