They want creator Kohei Horikoshi to finally acknowledge the long-standing Deku and Uraraka relationship, which has been teased numerous times but has never been fully clarified or made canon.

There is some disagreement here because there are two potential relationships that can be sanctified. Uraraka and Deku are one of them, but the other is Uraraka and Himiko Toga, and the latest official art has edits being made, with the latter holding hands, making it the former.

“So you agree? Is Togachako really romantic? That’s good to know,” says one fan using the official art. “What a convenient product to push your heterosexuality agenda,” says a second, in response to a post of the edited artwork.

Kohei has drawn Deku and Uraraka holding hands before, so it’s clear he’s not playing any favorites in terms of expectations. Unfortunately, the most likely outcome is that neither receives much attention; But we will find out in December.
