Actress LisaRaye McCoy stunned fans after boldly revealing that she only dates rich men.

The 57-year-old star of Players Club made a statement on the subject. Reality with the King podcast when host Carlos King asked him about his ‘gold digger’ reputation.

Explaining her decision to only date rich and successful men, McCoy said: ‘Here’s the thing. I don’t want to stress you out by trying to keep up with the lifestyle I already have and have gotten used to.

‘Cause if I’m only going to these restaurants for lunch meetings and you have to spend your entire check to get me there, I don’t want to stress you out. ‘You can’t hang out with me.’

He continued, ‘You still want to take a weekend off. I’m taking a month off and going on vacation. ‘We’re not going to make it through.’

The twice-married star went on to list several qualities that make him attractive in the dating market.

‘I’ve traveled a lot. I am well cultured. I am talented. I am successful. I have been tamed. I am a family. You understand all this; Don’t you know I have a list too?’ he said.

‘Can you tick the boxes for me? One of these needs to be achieved. Successful. Strong. And rich.”

They were married from 2003 to 2008; During this time, McCoy was named the First Lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands and lived an incredibly lavish lifestyle.

McCoy admitted in a 2020 interview that he didn’t marry Misick for love.

“To me, I definitely should have married for love,” she admitted on Fox Soul’s Out Loud.

She previously accused her former co-star Duane Martin of convincing Misick to cheat on her during their marriage.

McCoy, 56, made the surprising accusation in an interview with TV One’s Uncensored in 2019.

‘You still want to have a weekend away. I’m taking a month off and going on vacation. “We won’t be able to do this,” he said.

At the time, she claimed that after she introduced her husband to Martin, the pair became so close that she eventually ‘lost’ her partner to her co-star.

‘Duane and Michael became better friends than me and my husband, and for God’s sake I couldn’t understand that,’ she said.

‘Duane introduced my husband to different women, women we actually knew as friends and co-workers.

‘(I think), “You’re my friend, I introduced you to him. What are you doing?” I’m still a little confused about this.’

McCoy is known for her role as Diana ‘Diamond’ Armstrong in the 1998 film The Players Club.

Her other memorable roles include The CW sitcom All Of Us and VH1’s Single Ladies.

She recently starred in the second season of Peacock’s star-studded dating series Queen’s Court, alongside model London ‘Deelishis’ Charles and R&B singer K. Michelle.

“We didn’t have to be alone in this world,” he said in the program.

‘We didn’t have to live life alone. ‘My king is out there somewhere, and now I have a second chance to fix this.’
