One of Donald Trump Jr.’s allies and business partners has reportedly been offered a key position during his father’s second term as president. white house.

Sergio Gor is expected to lead the Office of Presidential Personnel and will be tasked with assisting President-elect Donald Trump with the hiring, vetting and nomination of thousands of political appointees across the federal government, according to a report.

“Great news. Sergio will be great!” Trump Jr. posted on social media platform X in response to the news, which was first reported by Semafor.

Gor, president and co-founder of Trump Jr.’s publishing company, is part of President-elect Trump’s latest effort to assemble a second administration of allies, loyalists and other supporters.

Trump has previously said that the biggest mistake of his first presidency was letting disloyal people into his administration.

“The biggest mistake I ever made was that I picked some people; I picked some great people, you know, but you don’t think about it. I picked some people that I shouldn’t have picked,” Trump told the ” Joe Rogan Experience ” podcast last month.

“I picked a few people I shouldn’t have picked,” he said.

Not only did Gor help publish the former and future president’s books, he also stepped down from his longtime position as vice president. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.He is about to join the finance committee of Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign.

Gor also officiated a wedding in California in 2021 for Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., another Trump ally whom Trump recently picked as his nominee for attorney general.

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., announced that Gaetz resigned from the House of Representatives after his election to the Department of Justice.

Gor is among the newest series of announced elections For Trump’s new administration. The president-elect also selected Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-Y) as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) as national security adviser, and Sen. Marco Rubio, among others. R-Fla., for secretary of state.

Tesla CEO and billionaire backer Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy are expected to lead Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency.
