Hoda Kotb Can’t Hold Her Excitement About Buying a Minivan

Hoda Kotb This week he realizes one of his biggest dreams.

In the Thursday, November 14 episode Today with Hoda and Jenna Kotb, 60, revealed that as a new suburban mom of two, she’s taking the next step: buying a minivan. The presenter practically jumped out of his seat as he shared the exciting news.

“Guys, I’m going to buy a minivan! Toyota Sienna!” he cheered. “I’m very excited. I’ve wanted a Toyota Sienna for a long time.”

Kotb, who is the mother of girls Hope, 5, and Haley, 7, then hilariously imitated the movement of her new car’s automatic sliding doors, saying: “Push the buttons, click them! And the doors whistle.”

β€œAnd let me explain, me and a minivan are like a dream,” he continued. “I wanted to, but it didn’t work out. Also, sometimes I’m the carpool mom. I can only take three kids with me because there’s no other room. Not anymore! I’m looking forward to it.”

co-host Jenna Bush Hager she then chimed in to share that while most “city people” are “somewhat resistant” to moving to the suburbs, “Hoda moved to the suburbs and dove right in β€” PTA, Tupperware, and now a minivan.”

“Minivan is the best of all!” shouted Kotb. “I can’t wait. I can’t wait to push the buttons, get the kids in the car, put the gym clothes in the back and have it all.”

“So you’re living the American dream,” Bush Hager joked.

Kotb recently congratulated him First Halloween in the suburbs with her daughtersShe shows off the family of three’s costumes on Instagram.

Hope wore a blue cheerleader costume and posed with her hand on her hip in a photo with her sister. Haley wore a purple cheerleading uniform, was smiling and carrying a white basket for her candy. Kotb included photos of three families trick-or-treating in the suburbs for the first time since moving away from Manhattan.
