Auction of ‘Coraline’s Curious Cat Path’ sculptures raises $324,500 for OHSU Doernbecher hospital

After “Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail” ended, the statues were auctioned off to raise money for OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The auction raised $324,500, according to a press release from the Portland Metro Chamber/Downtown Portland Clean & Safe.

The statement also notes that, based on preliminary economic data, more than 135,000 people are estimated to have visited “Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail,” providing a “$4 million economic impact to the downtown area.”

The farewell weekend on October 12-13 attracted 10,000 visitors to Director Park, the statement said.
