Bay Area Rapid Transit police have identified the suspect in an allegedly unprovoked stabbing attack on a 54-year-old woman Saturday morning.

Security camera footage led to the identification of the 34-year-old man, who was reported to be 1.88 meters tall. and weighed 160 pounds, had black braided hair and a moustache on the top of his head on the day of the attack. He was wearing a plain black jacket with orange lining, a black shirt with a large white logo, gray and black cargo pants and brown and black boots, and was carrying a duffel bag.

The suspect allegedly slit the neck of the victim, described as an elderly Asian woman, as she got off an Antioch-bound train at 24th Street and Mission Station in San Francisco shortly after 8 a.m.
