This week marks 10 years since Bristol Academy recorded a surprise win over Barcelona in the Women’s Champions League.

The then Super League team, Bristol City, became the surprise winner against the Spanish champions in one of the most unforgettable nights in Women’s history, winning 2-1 on aggregate in two matches.

Former Bristol Academy manager Dave Edmondson is one of the guests on BBC Radio Bristol’s Sound of the City program on Monday and reflects on that night ten years ago.
