Google is rolling out an update for the Photos app to help users stay up to date with the latest developments.

As detailed a community postGoogle is rolling out the new “Updates” page in Photos to all users on Android and iOS. This new page is touted as a shared social hub for people who share their photo albums with each other. Accessible via a new “bell icon,” users will find an Updates page that puts organization and current first.

Google says it hopes the Updates page can “strengthen collaboration and connection.” This is designed to be the user’s one-stop shop for updates on shared albums and conversations/group conversations. Regarding the latter, the post states that users will be notified if they are added to a new chat or if another user posts a new photo. All conversations can be accessed from the Photos app settings.

Google says the Updates area for shared albums will notify you about new albums and display them in the order they were received.
