The coffee giant welcomed its first customers to its new store the town’s High Street On Thursday, November 14th.

The store opened in a former Halifax bank. It closed its doors in January.

What does the new store offer?

Customers can choose from a selection of pastries and other sweet treats, along with hot and cold beverages served from a simplified menu.

It also offers a service where visitors can reserve a seat up to three hours before their visit and even order food and drinks for their table.

Shawn Devonport, regional operations manager for the coffee chain, said: “We are delighted to be opening our new store in Stourbridge and are proud to offer an exciting new bookable space for local people to use and make our space their own.

“This opening reflects Starbucks’ commitment to creating welcoming, community coffeehouses where people can come together and connect over a delicious cup of handcrafted coffee served by our talented baristas.”

Starbucks said it is collaborating with various local charities with the opening of the new store and will donate profits from opening day. dudley The Group NHS Charity is based at Russells Hall Hospital.

The cafe will be open between 07.00-17.30 from Monday to Friday, 07.00-18.00 on Saturday and 09.00-17.00 on Sunday.

Customers who want to benefit from the reservation table service must be 18 years or older and can do this by speaking to a staff member.
