I wish I had a magic answer to finding the best needle in the haystack. Yes zillions Number of people in apps. Only some will be right for you.

You can try platforms that limit your options. An app like Coffee Meets Bagel offers its own formula. little matches, but I hope there will be better ones. eharmony has always tried to attract users who are willing to put in more effort.

I can’t say if any of these apps are better than the other. I think there is some luck involved. All I know is that some platforms are more appealing to one person than another. If you can’t succeed at one, try the other.

Also consider adding a step between the messages and the date. FaceTime works. Anything that allows you to see who someone is and how they smile and sound before heading to the mall. I think it saves time. You can learn a lot about a person in a five-minute conversation.

Ask your friends for installations outside of the app. Also, have these friends read your profile and rate it. It’s possible that you’re not clear enough about what you’re looking for.
