Early voting is scheduled for the next two Saturday mornings at the Marion County Clerk’s office

Marion County Clerk Steve Fox said his office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon the next two Saturdays for early voting ahead of the November general election.

Those who want to vote early must enter through the security gate on the east side of the courthouse and come to the second floor.

You can also vote early Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the clerk’s office until election day.

Fox says it looks like both actual voting and early voting will not be enough to win the last Presidential election in 2020. So far, 1,056 of the 1,815 votes cast by mail have been returned. There were 2,200 people who voted by mail in 2020.

So far, 1,667 people have voted early. 4,565 people voted early in the 2020 elections.
