NORTH HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – Serious injuries were reported following a crash on I-91 north of North Haven Wednesday evening.

Authorities say the incident occurred between exits 10 and 11.

A car is said to have rear-ended a formation of vehicles blocking the construction site.

Two people, one of whom was seriously injured in the accident, were taken to hospital.

An investigation is active.
