Kochi: Eloor police arrested Deepu, an autorickshaw driver from Mulavukad, who tried to hack a woman to death on Wednesday night.

According to Manorama News, the attack stemmed from a rent-related dispute as the autorickshaw driven by Deepu was registered in Sindhu’s name. He was an employee in his organization.

Due to deep wounds on her neck, Sindhu is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Palarivattom.
