Father of suspected Apalachee High School shooter to appear in court

ATLANTA, GA. (Atlanta News First) – Colin Gray, the father of the teenage suspect in September’s deadly Apalachee High School shooting, is back in court Thursday.

Colin will appear in court at 9am where he will hear the charges against him and present his defence. He faces 29 charges, including second-degree murder, second-degree cruelty to children, involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct.

On September 4, 14-year-old Colt Gray allegedly opened fire at Apalachee High School, killing four people and hospitalizing nine others. The dead were later identified as 14-year-old students Christian Angulo and Mason Schermerhorn, as well as teacher and assistant football coach Richard Aspinwall and mathematics teacher Cristina Irimie.
