Steps musical Here & Now comes to London as part of nationwide tour

A jukebox musical featuring the pop group’s hits StepsNext year he will embark on a tour of the UK and Ireland, including six nights at the New Wimbledon Theater in London.

The cast of Here & Now will begin their tour in August 2025, before stopping in Aylesbury. Manchester, Glasgow And Dublinand as well as London.

The musical is currently playing at Alexandra. Birmingham through November 30, 2024, after debuting earlier this month.

The synopsis of the musical is as follows: “Welcome to the Better Best Bargains store by the sea, where it’s Friday night, the atmosphere is nice and everyone is dancing in the aisles.

“But when Caz discovers that the shelves are full of lies and betrayal, the summer of love that she and her friends dreamed of suddenly begins to turn into a tragedy. Did they all lose their chance at ‘happily ever after’? Or does love have other plans…”

The stage show, performed in partnership with Steps, includes classic hits such as Stomp, Tragedy and 5, 6, 7, 8. The script of the musical was written by Shaun Kitchener and directed by Rachel Kavanaugh.

Tickets are on sale now ATG tickets and start from £15.

The cast for the tour has not yet been announced.

Made up of Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Ian “H” Watkins and Lee Latchford, Steps has 14 top-five singles, four number-one albums, 22 million record sales, 500 million streams and 11 sold-out national arena tours – Evans and Lisa Scott-Lee are one of the most successful mixed-gender pop groups the UK has ever produced.
