CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Homicide detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in Clarksville Tuesday morning.

Around 4:45 a.m., the Clarksville Police Department was alerted to a shooting at a home on Chapel Street. According to CPD, officers arrived on scene and found a man dead from a gunshot wound.

Officers spoke with a witness who said two men entered the residence, shot the man, and then fled the scene.

Clarksville Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video evidence that could assist in the investigation to call 931-648-0656.
