WAYNESBORO, GA. (WRDW/WAGT) – Police are asking for the public’s help in getting information regarding a theft of over $28,000 from an auto shop, we learned Tuesday morning.

Around 8 p.m. on Nov. 18, the sheriff’s office announced that the Waynesboro Police Department was investigating the burglary, which occurred between Sunday night and Monday morning.

Police are seeking information regarding the following items stolen from Andy’s Auto & Diesel located at 248 E Sixth Street:

• $28,000 Cash

• 2008 ClubCar Golf Cart (Picture)

• Snap-on Zeus Browser

• Purple Bicycle

• Mossberg 12 gauge Pump Action Shotgun

• Various Additional Tools
