Nine people to plead guilty in million-dollar sports betting scheme

Multiple people have agreed to plead guilty in connection with an incident Million dollar sports betting claimG organization.

According to court documents, the requests will come from Nathanael Burdette, David Richards, Jonathan Lind, Joshua Gentrup, Matthew Vorhees, Christopher Donaldson, Mark Giaquinto, Thomas Zito and Christopher Burdette.

The charges include ‘Conspiracy to Launder Money’ and ‘Conspiracy to Conduct an Illegal Gambling Business’.

According to the original indictment, a 17-year-old organization eventually became known as “Red44” and its betting and wagering activities occurred online through an offshore server located in Costa Rica. It was claimed that the defendants mentioned in the indictment were high-level agents or actual founding members of the Red44 organization.

In the indictment, it is estimated that the organization accepted hundreds of millions of dollars of bets from bettors from 2019 to 2021.

The Red44 Organization claimed to have made a gross profit of $14,930,787.00 in 2019.

The tenth defendant, Timothy Pughsley, was given an additional 30 days to complete the proposed plea agreement.
