‘It still hurts,’ Dean said, as Tulisa told him: ‘You’re a man in pain, and you’re vulnerable about it, and that takes strength. There are no rules to grieving, Barry.’

He added: ‘Holding on to these memories is an extension of your love, it doesn’t mean you’re weak, it means, ‘This is how much I love my daughter and I’m suffering.'”

As Barry cried, Oti and Coleen wiped away tears and the professional dancer became emotional, saying: ‘I don’t think you can ever get over things like this, I don’t think you can ever get over losing someone.’

‘As a big and strong man, I also admire the fact that he is brave enough to give up everything,’ he added.

‘No matter what I do, everything comes back,’ Barry continued, recalling the ‘horrible weeks’ of Danika’s stay in hospital.

‘It was shocking’

He continued to explain: ‘He had pains in his stomach but he was shooting the movie, he postponed it and went to the doctor, he called us all. ‘Stage 4 bowel cancer, 5 weeks, died 5 weeks later.’
