Miranda Kerr has revealed that she lost her first boyfriend in a car accident when she was a teenager.

41-year-old Australian model appeared Not Alone Podcast She was shocked and heartbroken when her boyfriend Christopher Middlebrook died suddenly.

Miranda, who has four sons and shares three with husband Evan Spiegel, admitted that her life could have been very different had it not been for the tragic accident.

‘My boyfriend passed away when I was little. “If this hadn’t happened, I’d be happily married and a country bumpkin like me,” he said.

‘It was a huge shock to my system that he died so suddenly because he died in a car accident. This was a lesson in my life to never take things for granted.’

Miranda also revealed that she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage after welcoming her first son, Flynn, 13, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, whom she dated from 2010 to 2013.

‘I actually had a miscarriage and it was a boy,’ she said.

Miranda said she was ‘naive’ during her first pregnancy and has become much more ‘savvy’ with each pregnancy.

‘So with each pregnancy I became more knowledgeable and a little more worried about what could go wrong,’ she added.

Miranda married Snapchat CEO Spiegel in 2017, and the couple have three sons: Hart, six, Myles, five, and newborn Pierre.

He remains close to his ex-girlfriend Bloom and his fiancée Katy Perry, 39, and has previously said the dynamic of their relationship is “a modern family”.

Miranda previously revealed that she named her eldest son Flynn after her late boyfriend and that his middle name is Christopher.

Speaking to Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper after his birth, the woman said: ‘After he died, I wrote him a letter saying I hoped to somehow name my first child after him.’

‘I told Orlando and he was the one who said he’d be happy to do it.’

Miranda also explained annual Baby2Baby gala Los Angeles Last week, his nine-month-old son Pierre was named after his late grandfather.

When asked what her other sons thought of the new arrival, Miranda was happy to say that they adored the family’s youngest child.

‘They love him,’ she said, adding that Pierre was ‘the light of our home.’

‘She’s just a little ray of sunshine and her siblings adore her.’

‘When you have a new baby at home, you often wonder: ‘Oh, how will the boys react?’ But they adore her,’ the former Victoria’s Secret Angel added.
