Police seek public’s help after teenage boy killed in Ahwatukee stabbing

AHWATUKEE, AZ — Phoenix police are asking for the public’s help after a teenage boy was stabbed to death early Saturday morning in Ahwatukee.

Police said they were called to the area near 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard around 3 a.m. for a stabbing.

Police teams arrived at the scene and determined that the child’s life was in danger.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that the child later died from his injuries.

Police have not identified any suspects at this stage.

The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing and police are asking for the public’s help in solving the case.

Specifically, police are seeking home surveillance videos of residents in the area.
