A man was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Canandaigua Road in Walworth Township on Thursday, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say 39-year-old Bryan Fetterly of Ontario was traveling southbound when his vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane, veered into a ditch and struck a tree. Fetterly was transported by Macedon Township Ambulance to Rochester General Hospital for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The West Walworth Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist.
